Music and gigs.
"Musical comedy joy! A comic songstress with delightfully insane, catchy, charming musical numbers. Mixes the worlds of music and comedy with a guitar, a golden voice and a twisted lyric or two!"
I like singing songs and doing things that make people laugh. I write songs that are funny, whimsical and often full of stories. Sometimes people give me money. Whether it's money for a cd, money to keep singing or money to be quiet is of no consequence. It's still money. I have gigged all over in all sorts of places including variety and cabaret nights, music and comedy gigs, house concerts, school assemblies, churches, radio, bars, clubs and people's living rooms...and once for the queue in the local chemist.
I run music sessions for very young children. See work with younger audiences page.
You can hear some of my songs, and /or buy and download them here
I'm performing at the Croydon Comedy Festival again this year with MJ Hibbett, Gavin Osborn, and I've put together a mini tour of 'Amy Johnson : Last Flight Out' for this March.

2017 was a very busy year with the research, creation and performing of an original piece of theatre inspired by the record breaking pilot, Amy Johnson. I was funded by Croydonites Festival of New Theatre to write and perform this one person show which premiered at The Spreadagle Pub Theatre in Croydon. Lots of details here.
Other writing has included articles for The Croydon Citizen and a song writing commission from Egham Museum to pen songs inspired by Magna Carta. I produced four songs and you can hear / download these here
